>> Update!

I know, I know. You’ve been waiting on the edge of your seat for WEEKS anticipating the next installment of The Abramoventure. I have failed you. But for good reason! Things have become much busier in the Abramovitz household, which is a good thing, but I’m still a firm believer that God didn’t intend life to be as chaotic as we make it (another blog post for another time).

Bryan: He is right in the thick of it people. He studies constantly and has exams and practicals often. Recently, B had his first Anatomy exam, which is their killer class. He did absolutely GREAT, although he’ll be embarrassed that I’m writing about it. B really loves what he is studying and is excited about the future, but he is definitely growing weary of all the studying. Fortunately, Fall Break is coming soon! He also found out recently that his first clinical rotation (next November) will be in West Monroe, Louisiana. Home of the Duck Dynasty clan, y’all! He’s pretty excited about that and secretly hoping that someone in the Roberston clan will let him live with them for those 5 weeks. In all seriousness, though, he does need housing (and we have to pay out of pocket if he isn't able to secure some kind of living arrangement), so if you know anyone, we’re all ears!
We passed through West Monroe this summer on the way to Florida. You could say we're kind of Duck Dynasty fans. :)

Amanda: You probably already know this, but I got a job! I work for Garver, a regional engineering consulting firm. I work as an Administrative Assistant on the third floor, though, which is where the Finance, Marketing, HR, Recruiting, and Executive teams are all housed (the first 2 floors are engineers). So, I don’t work much with the engineering side of things, but more on the business side, which is a great fit for my background. This is my third week at Garver and I’m really enjoying it so far…except for the traffic going to Little Rock. I-40 between 6 am – 8 am and 4 pm – 6 pm is chaos. By the amount of cars jammed onto the interstate, you’d think every single person that lives in or around Conway actually works in Little Rock. But, I have no room to complain and I’m starting to get used to the routine now. So thankful for God's provision with this job! I’m also doing a little bit basic social media work on the side, which I enjoy.
The new job!
Tebow: Crazy as always, y'all. Nothing’s changed there! If I’m honest with you, it was kind of sad for me to leave him home alone during the days once I started working. I guess you could say I’m a little attached. Fortunately, Bryan has occasional breaks here and there for lunch, studying, and such, so he’s able to entertain the fur ball some. He seems to have transitioned pretty easily to being home by himself during the days…I mean, c’mon, he gets to sleep all day! And, I have to brag on him a little. Since moving, he hasn’t chewed up a single thing in our apartment nor has he gotten into anything during the times we’re gone. Tebow's never had much of a problem with that in the past, but with the move and all, we were very thankful that he's handled change so well. He’s really been a great little addition to our family and brings us lots of joy. Oh, and he celebrated his first birthday on September 11th (unfortunate birthday date) and we’ll celebrate having him for a year in November. Yay!
Reminiscing on how little Tebow was when we first got him! As always, he just looks like a little ball of fur in photos. Sorry!

Thanks for stopping by :)

Until next time,

AA
